Rather a fitting first entry for my blog happens to be the photos of the small set piece from the film "fantastic Mr Fox" on display next to Hamleys main windows on regency street.
I, a few days before this, was at the animation talk with the cinematographer of the film (Tristan Oliver) and he explained how complicated it was just to light the set and over all how he had to create the image the director needed on film.
I recommend that anyone interested in animation should have a look since its such a unique idea using the old fashioned stock animation and using a complicated material such as fur, one thing that is hard to keep in shape unlike Plasticine it is a very risky idea made wonderfly in this film.
